Yesterday, Peters Colony PTA had the sweetest time celebrating our amazing 5th graders with one last pancake breakfast 🥞💙

From little hands to big dreams, it has been such a joy watching these students grow over the years. We loved being able to cook, serve, and feed them one last time before they head off to middle school. 🥹✨

Good luck, 5th graders — we are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all the incredible things you do next! 🎓⭐

Desde pequeñas manos hasta grandes sueños, ha sido una alegría ver a estos estudiantes crecer a lo largo de los años. Nos encantó poder cocinar, servirles y alimentarlos una última vez antes de que comiencen la secundaria. 🥹✨

A HUGE thank you to our incredible staff, our awesome volunteers, and all of our fantastic vendor partners who helped make this event so special! 🙌

We’re also so grateful to every family, student, and community member who came out, had fun, and supported our school. Seeing everyone together made this event truly unforgettable ❤️

💙 It takes a village to make a school community thrive! 💙

The Peters Colony PTA board may be tiny, but under the leadership of President Derek, we’ve worked hard to provide fun events, programs, teacher appreciation activities, and memorable experiences for our students and staff. ✨

The reality is — more hands make lighter work. Our board members volunteer their free time while also working full-time jobs and raising families of their own right here at Peters Colony.

We would LOVE to continue offering amazing opportunities for our school community, but we need more parents, grandparents, family members, and volunteers to help make it happen. Whether you join the board or volunteer when needed, every little bit makes a difference. 🐾

Come be a part of something meaningful with us! 💫

💙 ¡Se necesita una comunidad para hacer crecer una gran escuela! 💙

La mesa directiva de la PTA de Peters Colony puede ser pequeña, pero bajo el liderazgo del presidente Derek, hemos trabajado duro para ofrecer eventos divertidos, programas, actividades de agradecimiento para maestros y experiencias memorables para nuestros estudiantes y personal. ✨

La realidad es que muchas manos hacen el trabajo más ligero. Los miembros de nuestra mesa directiva ofrecen su tiempo libre mientras también trabajan tiempo completo y cuidan de sus propias familias aquí en Peters Colony.

Nos ENCANTARÍA seguir ofreciendo increíbles oportunidades para nuestra comunidad escolar, pero necesitamos más padres, abuelos, familiares y voluntarios que quieran ayudar. Ya sea uniéndose a la mesa directiva o ayudando cuando se necesite, cada granito de ayuda hace una gran diferencia. 🐾

Tiny but MIGHTY — that’s the Peters Colony PTA Board! 💙🍔✨

A huge THANK YOU to Elaine and her husband for volunteering their time to cook burgers and provide an amazing burger bar for our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week!

This week was all about celebrating the incredible educators and staff who give so much to our students every day.

We want our Peters Colony family to always feel seen, valued, and appreciated — and we’re so thankful to everyone who helped make that possible!

The Peters Colony PTA would like to send a huge THANK YOU to Walmart here in The Colony for generously supporting our teachers and staff during Teacher Appreciation Week! 💙

Their thoughtful donation of goodies — including Celsius drinks, chips, and snacks — helped us celebrate the amazing educators and staff who do so much for our students every day.

Support from our families and community partners makes events like this possible, and we are so grateful for businesses that give back in such meaningful ways.
