ALL REGISTERED SCOUTERS MUST COMPLETE THE UPDATED YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINING PRIOR TO OCTOBER 1.

BSA Youth Protection Training has been updated/revised as of February 3, 2018. Anyone who took the course prior to that date must retake the course in order to be considered current (status in council records has been changed for those who have not taken it since the update to show expiration date of 9/30/18).

The new course is available on-line at my.scouting.org (on-line is the preferred method). It takes less than an hour to complete

Unit Charter renewals will not be accepted unless all scouters listed have completed the new course. Dropped leaders would have to submit a new application (and new applications are not being accepted without proof of having completed the YPT course).

If you have not already done so, please complete the course at your earliest convenience prior to 9/30/18.
