🏔️ The AFA - Rocky Mountain Chapter brings AFA members together across Montana, Southern Idaho, and most of Wyoming through education, networking, and memorable industry experiences.

Chapter President Sherman Leibow of Anvil Fence Company shared how one of the chapter’s standout events has been the AFA Summit at Yellowstone.
Hosted in a nearly 100-year-old Union Pacific dining lodge, the summit brings together exhibitors, attendees, and educational programming in a setting that creates real opportunities to connect, learn, and grow.

🇺🇸 Honoring Old Glory | Memorial Day

At FENCETECH 2025, Vann Morris delivered a powerful keynote tribute through the voice of Old Glory, reminding us that the American flag is more than fabric. It is a symbol of service, sacrifice, freedom, and the men and women who have carried the cost of defending it.

His message honored the veterans, service members, first responders, prisoners of war, those missing in action, and the families who have given so much for this country. From battlefields to half-mast ceremonies, from moments of national tragedy to the quiet presentation of a folded flag to a grieving family, Old Glory stands as a reminder that freedom is never free.

This Memorial Day, AFA honors all who have served, especially those who never made it home.

We are also proud to recognize the many veterans in the fence industry who continue to lead, build, serve, and strengthen their communities through their work every day.

May we never forget the sacrifice behind the flag.

🇺🇸 AFA Florida Chapter | Serving Those Who Served

When a veteran family in Florida needed support, members of Florida Chapter of the American Fence Association answered the call.

AFA members recently volunteered their time, labor, and materials as part of a Military Makeover® project supporting the Dawson family. Matthew Dawson, a U.S. Army veteran and Purple Heart recipient, served as an Infantryman with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan before being medically boarded and honorably discharged. Today, he and his partner, Christina, are raising their two children while continuing to move forward through the lasting effects of his service.

This project is a powerful reminder of what the fence industry does best: showing up, serving others, and using our skills to help create safer, more comfortable spaces for families who deserve it.

Thank you to the AFA members, Florida Chapter volunteers, and everyone involved in helping make this transformation possible. Your generosity reflects the heart of this industry and the impact our members can make when they come together.
