For 50 years, Operation Kindness Humane Society has been there for North Texas pets when they need us most. Today, our impact reaches farther than ever before. When Blue arrived from one of our municipal shelter partners, he was fighting for his life. Blue and his two littermates were suffering from parvovirus, a highly contagious and often deadly disease that threatens vulnerable puppies.
They spent weeks in the care of our veterinary team, receiving intensive treatment, constant monitoring, and plenty of love as they fought to recover.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, Blue overcame the odds and recovered. Today, Blue is healing in a foster home - nearly ready to find the loving family he's been waiting for.
