Wow! It was another busy but beautiful day at the WUA! office! Sharon & Priscilla were our incredible volunteers!
We sent out 10 boxes today! We shipped veteran blankets to Jackson Veteran Home in MS and Floyd E. "Tut" Fann State Veterans Home in AL, boxes of child blankets to Children's Mercy Hospital in MO and Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic Hospital in TX, boxes of lap blankets to Saber- Cortland Healthcare Center in OH and to Stronger Than Cancer in TX, a box of shawls to Stronger than Cancer, two boxes of baby blankets and baby hats to Parkland Health Foundation, and a box of 500 sections to a joiner in MI! Thank you so much for your support in sending so many beautiful items to us and donating in your local community! Together we are warming up America! ❤

It's been a great Tuesday at Warm Up America ❤️Stephanie and Irma were our incredible volunteers today!

We shipped out 7 boxes of comfort today! We sent a box of baby blankets and hats to Newborns in Need in TN, two boxes of veteran blankets to Northwest Louisiana Veterans Home and Richard A. Anderson Texas State Veterans Home, a box of child blankets to Children's Medical Center Dallas, two boxes of adult/bed blankets to Sleep in Heavenly Peace - TX, Denton and a box of 500 sections to a joiner in CO! Thank you to everyone who helps us share warmth, comfort, and hope one stitch at a time ❤️

New! Join Our WUA! 35th Anniversary 7"x9" Section Campaign!!!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the Warm Up America! 35th Anniversary 7" × 9" Section Campaign, celebrating 35 years of bringing warmth, comfort, and hope to people in need across America. This milestone honors the enduring spirit of community and togetherness that began with our founder, Evie Rosen, in 1991, and invites you to be part of this special collaborative effort.

Details:
Below are four different patterns created by Bill & Dee Scalzo, dedicated WUA! volunteers, inspired by the official WUA! logo. Two patterns are crochet, and two are knit. Feel free to make as many sections as you’d like!

Yarn: Acrylic (maroon & white preferred, not required, please weave in the ends)
Goal: 3,500 sections!

We had a great and super busy day at the Warm Up America! Office today! Diane & Sherrin were our outstanding volunteers! Several makers stopped by to drop off their beautiful veteran blankets including ♥️

We sent out lots of veteran blankets to T.H.R.I.V.E Vets Association in MD, JourneyCare in IL and in TX. We also sent baby blankets and hats to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston and Medical City Lewisville Hospital. Thank you for your generosity and support! Together we're making an incredible impact for those who need it most!

It was a terrific Tuesday with Bill, Dee & Jeanne at the WUA! Office! We received so many gorgeous veteran blankets today!

We shipped out 5 big boxes of warmth! We sent veteran blankets to JourneyCare in IL, a box of lap blankets to Positive Community Impact in TX, a box of baby blankets & hats to Parkland Health, a box of child blankets to Scottish Rite for Children Orthopedic Hospital and a box of 500 sections to a joiner in NC! It's officially summer break here in TX, so please hold your winter items until Fall 2026! Our northern orgs. have asked that we not send them anymore winter items until fall. We have a small office and are unable to store winter items all summer. We will let you know when we're ready for them! We accept all size blankets, 7"x9" sections, soap sacks, shawls and baby hats all year long !
