🤝Thank you to 🔴 Representative Joe Wilson [R-SC-2] for speaking on the House Floor in support of Ukraine's children.
On May 21, 2026, Rep. Wilson delivered a floor speech titled "Saving the Children of Ukraine," drawing attention to the toll that Russia's war continues to take on innocent civilians, including children.
He highlighted The Sound of Life, a humanitarian awareness campaign launched by Trident Group Ukraine with the support of Ambassador Olga Stefanishyna of the Embassy of Ukraine to the United States.
‼️The campaign tells a sobering story: in Ukraine, parents place whistles around their children's necks before bedtime, so rescuers can find them if their homes collapse under missile strikes. What should be a toy has become a lifeline.
Rep. Wilson also underscored that continued American support is essential, noting that air defense saves lives by stopping missiles and drones before they reach homes, schools, churches, and hospitals.
We are grateful to Rep. Wilson for using his voice to keep the focus on Ukraine's children and the protection of innocent civilians.
