Hello everyone just want to take a moment to VENT a little, we posted last week that we were in need of volunteers to help clean up AMVETS Post 222 to get ready for the Board of Health inspection. When I arrived this morning I was the only vehicle in the parking lot shortly thereafter two others individuals arrived to get started, I really had hoped to see more volunteers but nope only two, what a shame as we started cleaning and moving things around I started thinking wheres the hell are our members at, and even our non-members. AMVETS is a non-profit organization as we all know, if we are going to keep the doors open we need everyones help in doing so, two people cannot do it all, I hope in the future we start getting more participation in helping AMVETS keep the doors open. So come on people this is our little community lets try working together and not standing back and watching one or two people do it by themselves.There is so much more that needs to be done in order to for us to be successful. Even though we got a lot done today with four people. I want to give a big shout out to Chris Chapman and Tori Ditto for volunteering to help with the today's cleanup thank you so much for your time and efforts.
