We hope to see our families at the upcoming Summer Food Service Program, beginning June 1st! Below are the dates and times we will be serving. This program is open to ANY child under the age of 18. We would love to see your family at any of our locations! Adults are welcome to purchase a meal and eat with their children for only $3.50! MSDWC is excited to once again offer free meals for children in our community this summer!

Locations: Metro North and Southwood Elementary Schools
Available To: Ages 1-18
Dates: June 2-19, 2026, Monday - Friday
Lunch: 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM

Meals must be consumed onsite.

School may be out for summer, but lunch is covered at the Wabash County YMCA!

Our FREE Summer Meals Program begins June 1 and helps make sure kids in our community have access to healthy meals all summer long.

FREE for anyone age 18 or younger
Adults 19+ may eat for just $3

TWO LOCATIONS:
• Wabash County YMCA
• Wabash City Park

Breakfast and lunch available at the YMCA
Lunch available at Wabash City Park

No registration required. First-come, first-served.

Bring your friends. Bring a blanket. Spend the day at the Y or enjoy the park after lunch!

We are so thankful for our donors and volunteers! Because of YOU, we were able to provide 19,687 hunger free weekends to over 600 students at 8 schools! Thank you, Wabash….. we will see you in August! There are many opportunities for students to receive meals over the summer- we will post soon!

Today we celebrate our last week of Bash Bags for the 2025-26 school year by dropping off a small gift of gratitude to our teachers and staff!  We are so grateful to help feed the children of our community with the help of our amazing donors and volunteers! We are looking forward to summer break and coming back to feed our students next school year!

Our WCUF Board President, Kris White, had the opportunity to pack bags last week with Bash Bags, Wabash Indiana!

Because of your donations, we are able to support Bash Bags and so many other organizations standing in the gap to provide food for our neighbors!
