📚❤️ I’M READING FOR SOUTHWOOD! ❤️📚

Our September Pick-a-Date Fundraiser is here, and this year we’re combining two great things — encouraging our kids to READ and raising money for Southwood Elementary! 📖✨

Here’s how it works:

📅 Pick a date on your student’s September calendar and sponsor that amount!
Choose September 5th = $5 donation
Choose September 18th = $18 donation
Choose September 30th = $30 donation

Every sponsored day earns your student 1 ticket toward our prize drawings — so the more dates they fill, the more chances they have to WIN! 🎟️🎉

📖 But this isn’t just about fundraising!
Students are encouraged to set a September reading goal. Meet the goal and return the signed calendar to automatically earn 2 prize tickets — even without collecting donations!

🌟 THE BIG CHALLENGE: Fill the ENTIRE calendar and earn an additional 50 BONUS TICKETS! 🎟️

🏆 PRIZES WILL BE ON DISPLAY IN THE FRONT LOBBY! Winners will be drawn after calendars are returned during the first week of October.

💵 Donations can be made by cash, check payable to Southwood PTO, or Venmo -Barry-5.

❤️ 100% of the funds raised go to Southwood PTO to support our amazing Southwood Elementary students and staff!

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to The Wabash Brew Crew for helping fuel our amazing teachers and staff yesterday as they kicked off their first day back at school! 🍎✏️📚

There’s no better way to start a new school year than with a little extra caffeine and a whole lot of community support! ☕️❤️ We are so grateful to Scooter’s Coffee for showing our teachers some love and helping make their first day back a little brighter.

Today is the day!! Get your student registered now through Tuesday, July 28th!

The day is here! It's time to register your students for the 2026-2027 school year!

Online registration is now open and will run through Tuesday, July 28. Registration links and instructions are available at msdwc.org/enrollment.

Remember, all students must be registered by a guardian. This includes all preschool and kindergarten students.

Are you a new student to MSDWC? If so, WELCOME! Please get in touch with the school or district before registering online. We will need to set you up in the system. Give us a call at 260-563-8050. (This does NOT include preschool students with a confirmed spot in the program, as well as kindergarten students who already signed up with the school.)
