Congratulations to our students who performed at the ISU Contemporary Music Festival - a nationally recognized festival. They played so well and I was incredibly proud of their dedication and performance. Thank you to composer Jim Stephenson for the charming composition they performed, to Dr. Yunjung Lee for doing all of the behind the scenes and conducting and thank you to the ISU students that played with our students side by side in this concert. And to Kurt Fowler who heads CMF and who invited us to the party!

Attended the VCSC Strings Thing. So much fun to see all of those students playing together. It’s a wonderful event. Thank you Brian Ingram, Dustin Roe, Kristy Mc Pike, Rodney Foster, Chris Gelb, Eric Schatz, Kayla Edwards, and Jeff Burress for great music education!!!!!

Purchasing a “Celebrate the Arts” License Plate from the Indiana BMV not only contributes to an established long-term trust but, along with funds from the IAC’s appropriation from the Indiana General Assembly, directly supports the Arts Project Support program. In Fiscal Year 2026, the “Celebrate the Arts” License Plate supported 60 Arts Project Support grants around the state. The Linda Luebke Strings Festival has been the recipient of IAC grants for many years. Supporting the Indiana Arts Commission IS supporting the Festival!!! Please get an IAC license plate and share the joy of arts in our community. By the way . . . the cello player on the right of this image is one of the founding members of LLSF!! How cool is that???

The 2026 Linda Luebke Strings Festival Advanced ensemble will perform at ISU Contemporary Music Festival on October 29. We are so proud of their accomplishment. Thank you to LLSF faculty member Yunjung Lee for her great work with these students and to Kurt Fowler for inviting us to CMF.
