Such a special day! Rotary Club of Temple - Peace Pole Dedication 6/4/26

Today, we dedicate this Rotary Peace Pole as a symbol of hope, unity, and our shared commitment to a better world.

Inscribed with the message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth”, this Peace Pole reminds us that peace begins with each of us – through understanding, kindness, service, and respect for all people.

As Rotarians, we believe that lasting peace is built one relationship, one active of service, and one community at a time. May this Peace Pole stand as a daily reminder that, together, we can help create a world where people unite and take action to make lasting change.

May all who pass by be inspired by its message and join us in working towards a more peaceful world.

May Peace Prevail on Earth.

The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor has added two dozen new majors in the last few years, and will soon break ground on a new science building. It also has launched a new program offering free tuition for students whose family earn less than $65,000.

Thank you Provost and Senior VP for Academic Affairs John Vassar for an update on our local university.
