Hey buddies, it’s been a while! But here we are, still finding a way to carry our mission forward. A few things! Today, I had the opportunity to drop off the last of our backpacks—this time, not to a classroom, but to a cause we hope will benefit some children greatly!
I also want to thank you! We are so grateful for all the support we have received in the past 12 years!
Lastly, as we remember our brother this month, the person we started this charity after, I want to update you on our activities. Angel’s Buddies is winding down the backpacks and school supplies piece of our mission. Over the years, we’ve seen so many organizations fill this need, and it has been so amazing to watch! In our own experience, it has been difficult maintaining connections with our target communities, but we are confident these new efforts have found a way to our target audience, and we hope we can make a difference with our other efforts.
And so, we will focus our efforts on scholarships for high school students seeking a higher degree in education and will continue book deliveries to a local pediatric hospital. Dreams to expand are always in the mix, but for now, we will focus on those two areas.
You have all been instrumental in helping us carry out these activities! So as we wind down one and carry on with the others, we thank you!! More soon! Let’s encourage! ❤️
