Tonight was the installation of our new 2026-2027 officers of TFLC.

Let me be the 1st person to introduce you to Boss Lion Dr. Tyler Cochran. He will do great things. He has a wonderful support system with the membership at TFLC & his family.

We also gave out some additional awards to 10 very deserving Lions (2 were not present so I will not mention their names just yet).

Harley D Mitchell - Jerry Jones & Kerri Mier

Rookie of the Year - Frank James Hernandez

Lion of the Year - new Boss Lion Dr. Tyler Cochran

Of course EVERY TFLC member deserves all the praise.

I have enjoyed by Presidency very much but look forward to watching Tyler do his thing.

I thank our membership for giving me this opportunity.

Today at our noon TFLC meeting we heard from Donna Dunn, Executive Director
of Body of Christ Clinic in Belton. Thank you Donna for speaking to our group.

Today was an absolute honor to hear from Army Veteran Greg Schannep at our regular noon meeting. He served 30 years in the US Army and served as their Chaplain. He is married to Marty, they have 6 children & 10 grandchildren. Thank you so much.

TFLC noon meeting today we heard from Natasha Tolleson from Temple Civic Theatre. They have a lot of new and wonderful things happening. Thank you Natasha for informing us of what’s happening at the Theatre. We also heard from young Jody Thigpen (Past President Jeff Thigpen’s favorite son) from Troy FFA who is going to be speaking at Tarleton State in front of a group of judges on Sunday & Monday. Good luck Jody. We are proud of you.
