🐾 Grooming Isn’t Just About Looking Good! ✂️🛁
Keeping your dog on a regular grooming schedule is so much more than keeping them fluffy, fresh and photo-ready. Consistent grooming is an important part of your dog’s overall health and well-being! ❤️
✨ Here’s why staying on schedule matters:
🛁 Healthy skin & coat
Regular bathing and proper products help remove dirt, dander, excess oils and buildup while keeping the skin and coat healthy.
🪮 Prevents painful matting
Waiting too long between appointments can allow tangles and mats to become tight against the skin. Mats can pull, trap moisture, hide skin problems and become extremely uncomfortable.
✂️ Less stress for your dog
Dogs who are groomed regularly become familiar with the process. Instead of waiting until they’re severely overgrown or matted, they’re getting small amounts of maintenance consistently—which is much easier on everyone!
🐾 Nails stay healthy
Regular nail trims help prevent overgrown nails, splitting, discomfort and changes in the way your dog walks.
👂 Ears get attention
Routine grooming gives us an opportunity to clean the ears when appropriate and notice things like excessive wax, odor, redness or irritation.
🦷 Better overall hygiene
Face, feet, sanitary areas and other commonly overlooked spots all benefit from routine maintenance.
🔍 Early detection
Groomers spend a LOT of hands-on time with your dog. We may notice unusual lumps, bumps, skin changes, parasites, ear issues or other things you might not see during everyday life. We don’t diagnose—but we can recommend that you have something checked by your veterinarian.
❤️ And perhaps most importantly…your dog feels better!
A good grooming routine should be based on your dog’s breed, coat type, lifestyle and individual needs. Some dogs may need appointments every 4 weeks, while others can comfortably go 6–8 weeks with proper at-home maintenance.
The goal isn’t simply a beautiful dog leaving the salon.
The goal is a comfortable, healthy, happy dog who feels as good as they look. 🐶❤️
If you’re not sure how often your dog should be groomed, ask your groomer! We’re happy to help you find a schedule that works for your dog and your lifestyle.
✨ Stay on schedule. Your dog’s skin, coat, nails—and their overall comfort—will thank you! ✂️🐾
