25 years does not happen without blood, sweat, tears, sleepless nights, long hours, grants, donors, fundraisers, and many people that help an organization keep going.
To be an all volunteer organization takes many people ready and willing to step out of their comfort zone and say I would like to help. LovExtension is blessed and grateful to all of our volunteers that are willing to do this.
It was our plan to have a very small celebration with our packing group (The Villages Evening Rotary) and our volunteers that were not on vacation. Thanks to Bay and Lake Pharmacy and the Eustis Area Chamber of Commerce, along with many individuals sharing our celebration, it became much bigger. Thank you to Terri Nissen, our Events Director, for ordering more cake. Terri, and her assistants, made it possible to transition from a "party atmosphere" to food packing mode in a matter of minutes. At that time, The Villages Evening Rotary, and our volunteers packed food bags. We appreciate their dedication and salute their service to low income seniors.
