Compassion Kind Compassion Kind is a 501c3 global humanitarian and animal welfare organization. To empathize, we must first be aware of the suffering.

Compassion is an awareness of others' suffering combined with a willingness to take action to relieve the suffering. We seek to ignite compassion in global citizens and inspire them to take action. We focus on the most pressing animal welfare and human rights issues around the globe. We envision a world with less suffering and more compassion; a conscious culture that extends its circle of compassion to all kinds regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion or species.

Aggie was saved from the euthanasia list. Now, she’s fighting another battle. 🐾

When we pulled sweet Aggie from Devore Animal Shelter, we promised her a second chance at life. What we didn’t know was just how much medical care she would need.

Aggie came to us with a persistent cough, which we immediately began treating. But after further examination, we discovered that her condition was much more complicated than a simple upper respiratory infection.

💔 Aggie has an enlarged heart and may be suffering from congestive heart failure.

On top of these heartbreaking findings, Aggie has also recently undergone her spay and dental procedures. Between her respiratory illness, cardiac concerns, surgeries, medications, and ongoing veterinary care, her medical expenses are quickly adding up.

The two invoices we’re sharing are just a small portion of what we’ve already spent, with many more expenses anticipated as we continue investigating and managing her condition.

This is the reality of rescue. Saving an animal from euthanasia is often just the beginning. Behind every freedom photo are veterinary appointments, unexpected diagnoses, mounting bills, and the commitment to give these animals every possible chance at a healthy, happy life.

Aggie deserves that chance. ❤️

Six-month-old Biscuit needs your help. 💔

At just six months old, Biscuit should be running, playing, and enjoying life as a puppy. Instead, this sweet boy was found holding up his leg, clearly in pain. More recently, he’s also started having trouble eating, leaving us even more concerned about his health.

We’ve secured an urgent vet appointment for tomorrow to get some answers. We don’t yet know the extent of his injury or whether he’ll need surgery or even an amputation, but we’re hoping for the best.

Biscuit has his entire life ahead of him, and he deserves every chance to live it happy, healthy, and pain-free.

We’ve faced so many unexpected medical emergencies recently, and our resources are stretched thin. But animals like Biscuit are counting on us, and we can’t do this without our community.

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED TOMORROW IN TAMPA BAY!

Sweet Biscuit desperately needs a foster home starting tomorrow!

Biscuit is a 6-month-old, 15-pound pup who was found limping due to an issue with his paw. We are currently working on scheduling X-rays with our vet to determine what’s going on and get him the care he needs.

Despite everything, Biscuit is such a sweet boy! He is dog, cat, and kid approved and just needs a safe, loving place to rest and recover.

A fenced yard is required at this time due to his paw injury, as he needs to limit his activity while we figure out what’s going on.

We urgently need someone in the Tampa Bay area to step up for Biscuit tomorrow!

All supplies and further vetting are provided by our rescue. You just provide the love and a safe place to land.

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED BY TOMORROW AFTERNOON! TAMPA BAY!

After everything Juno has survived, we desperately need someone to step up for this sweet girl. ❤️

Juno was found abandoned in a park after being stabbed with a machete. It’s heartbreaking to imagine what she went through, but despite the cruelty she experienced, Juno is still such a loving, playful, and happy girl who deserves nothing but kindness from here on out.

Juno is just under a year old, ~20 pounds, spayed, and full of life and personality!

❤️ Loves playing fetch with balls and rings
❤️ Absolutely loves agility activities and playtime

Juno is still just a puppy with her whole life ahead of her. She has already endured more than any animal ever should, and now she deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and cared for.

URGENT: TWO FOSTERS NEEDED BY THURSDAY

Polka and Smudge need foster homes by THURSDAY! These sweet 9-month-old girls urgently need safe places to land. They can be fostered separately.

POLKA is a 9-month-old spayed female who is great with kids, loves other dogs, and is good with cats. She would do best in a home with another dog companion to play with and help her continue to thrive.

SMUDGE is a 9-month-old spayed female who is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She is fantastic with kids, great with other dogs, and good with cats. She loves being close to her humans and absolutely thrives on snuggles. Smudge can be the only dog or live with a dog friend.

We need fosters committed by Thursday. Please don’t assume someone else will step up. If you have room in your home for one of these girls, we desperately need you.

All supplies and any further vetting are provided by the rescue. You provide the safe, loving home. We provide the rest.

🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR ASA — TAMPA BAY AREA, FL 🚨

We are desperate for someone to step up for Asa. We truly don’t understand why this sweet boy keeps getting overlooked.

Asa is only about 11 months old, and he has already had so much instability. People have stepped up temporarily to keep him safe, but his current foster cannot continue fostering him, and we urgently need somewhere for him to go.

Boarding is NOT an option for Asa. He is a timid, sensitive boy who is still learning that humans are safe. Putting him into a loud, stressful boarding environment would be incredibly difficult for him. He needs a real foster home.

Asa does not need someone perfect. He needs someone patient.

He is:
• Dog approved
• Cat approved
• Kid approved
• Doing well with his crate
• Going potty outside
• Doing okay on leash
• Only about 11 months old

Asa may not walk into your home and immediately act like the most confident dog in the world. He needs time to decompress, observe, and learn to trust you. But underneath that timid exterior is such a sweet boy who deserves the chance to finally blossom instead of going into boarding where he will struggle.

We NEED someone in the Tampa Bay Area to say yes to him. Please, if you have a safe home, patience, and room for one more, step up for Asa.

🚨 URGENT: MILO NEEDS EMERGENCY SURGERY NOW 🚨

We are desperately asking for help.

Milo has developed a dangerous obstruction while in foster care and needs emergency surgery IMMEDIATELY. We cannot wait. An obstruction can quickly become life threatening, and Milo needs surgery now to save his life.

The cost could be up to $3,000.

This is a massive, completely unexpected expense for our rescue, and we desperately need our community to help us cover it. We have to say yes to Milo and get him the surgery he needs, but emergencies like this put an enormous strain on our already limited rescue funds.
