Compassion Kind

Compassion Kind Compassion Kind is a 501c3 global humanitarian and animal welfare organization. To empathize, we must first be aware of the suffering.

Compassion is an awareness of others' suffering combined with a willingness to take action to relieve the suffering. We seek to ignite compassion in global citizens and inspire them to take action. We focus on the most pressing animal welfare and human rights issues around the globe. We envision a world with less suffering and more compassion; a conscious culture that extends its circle of compassion to all kinds regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion or species.

✨ Happy Adoption, Tiramisu! ✨

Sometimes, the perfect family takes a little longer to find… but when they do, it makes every moment of waiting worth it. ❤️

Tiramisu was one of five puppies surrendered to us after being born into heartbreaking conditions. Their owner made the difficult decision to surrender them after they were living in a broken-down trailer, wanting something better for these sweet babies.

Out of all five puppies, Tiramisu and her sister Mochi took the longest to find their homes. Not because they weren’t worthy, sometimes the most special souls just need the right people with patience, understanding, and love. They had interest, applications, and meet-and-greets, but the right forever family simply hadn’t arrived yet.

And then… they did. 🥹

Tiramisu has found her perfect match, and we truly could not imagine a better home for her. She is absolutely thriving and going on adventures, soaking up love, and living the beautiful life she always deserved. Seeing her happy, safe, and blossoming is everything we hoped for when we first rescued her.

We are so incredibly grateful to her amazing adopters for loving this sweet girl exactly as she is. Watching rescue dogs finally exhale and realize they are home forever will never stop feeling magical.

We can’t wait to watch you continue to grow and flourish, sweet Tiramisu. Your journey has been worth every second. ❤️

Now all we need is for your sister, Mochi, to find her happily ever after too. Mochi is still looking for her forever family and deserves the same beautiful ending. Sometimes the perfect people just take a little longer to arrive 💙

Freedom looks good on Groot 💛

Groot was pulled from a shelter in Orlando just before he was set to be euthanized. He was saved because an incredible foster stepped up and gave him the chance he deserved.

And the heartbreaking part? Groot has what’s called happy tail, a painful condition caused by wagging his tail so hard and so often that it repeatedly injures itself.

No dog should ever be punished for being too happy.

Despite everything, Groot is still full of love, joy, and hope. He still wags. He still trusts. He still believes people are good.

Right now, we are assessing the next best steps for his tail. Groot will need veterinary appointments and possibly surgery to help him heal and be comfortable moving forward.

Saving a dog is only the beginning. Now we make sure he gets the care he needs.

If you would like to support Groot on his healing journey, donations can be made to our Venmo: or PayPal/Zelle: [email protected]

Please share to celebrate Groot’s freedom and help us give this sweet boy the happy future he deserves.

We don’t even know how to begin this one.

Lily was found lying on the street in Jamaica, barely alive. One of her legs had been completely torn off. Bone and tendons were exposed. Both wounds were filled with maggots. She had lost so much blood that her body was shutting down.

A good Samaritan saw her and came back the next day to check on her. She was nowhere to be found. Three days later she was spotted again.

Her leg was lying beside her.

Let that sink in.

This is the reality for so many dogs here. Not once in a while. Not rare. Every single day. These are just the ones we find.

We rushed Lily to a vet clinic in Kingston where she is now fighting for her life.

She is severely anemic, her blood isn’t even red, it looks like water. She is battling tick fever and overwhelming infection. Right now, the team is doing everything they can to stabilize her, build her blood levels, and keep her alive long enough to make her a candidate for surgery.

She will lose her leg.

We are desperately trying to save the other, which is also badly infected.

Lily is around 4 to 5 years old, under 20 pounds, and has clearly been used for breeding over and over again. There is even a chance she may be pregnant. A life of suffering on the streets, leading to this.

We are devastated. We are angry. And we are exhausted from seeing this level of cruelty and neglect normalized.

But right now, Lily needs us focused.

She needs stabilization.
She needs surgery.
She needs ongoing care.

And we cannot do it without help.

If you are able to donate, even a few dollars makes a difference in cases like this where every hour matters.

If you cannot donate, please share her story. Awareness is how this changes. Silence is how it continues.

No animal should suffer like this. Not here. Not anywhere.

Help us give Lily a chance to know what safety feels like for the first time in her life.

Molly + Raiven 🤍🐾

These two little lab mix babies were found on the streets, just 3 months old, nearly getting hit by cars.

Molly (female) and Raiven (male) should be playing, learning, and feeling safe… not dodging traffic to survive.

They are incredibly sweet, social, and loving, the kind of puppies who instantly melt into you. They get along with everyone and are already showing just how special they are.

✔️ First vaccines
✔️ Dewormed
✔️ Ready for a safe place to land

We are urgently looking for a foster in the Tampa Bay area to give them the safety they deserve.

If you’ve been thinking about fostering, this is your sign. You are literally saving a life.

Apply here:

Let’s get Molly and Raiven off the streets and into a home where they can finally just be puppies. 🐶💛

Kai and Salem are two bonded brothers who have been through so much together, and now they urgently need a foster or forever home by June 1st.

These playful boys are full of love, fun, and personality. Kai recently recovered from FHO surgery, and he’s doing great. Together, these brothers just want a safe place where they can play, cuddle, and enjoy being cats.

Kai and Salem are incredibly sweet and social. They are friendly with other cats, dog-approved, and kid-approved. They truly love to have fun and would make an amazing addition to the right home.

Their current fosters are moving on June 1st, so we urgently need either a new foster or a forever family for them. They are bonded and must stay together.

They are fully vetted, up-to-date on everything, and ready for their next chapter.

Please message us to learn more about fostering or adopting Kai and Salem.
