We have an URGENT foster need for Penni this morning! 🚨

Penni’s current foster had an unexpected emergency, and we need to find somewhere safe for her to go ASAP today.

Penni is a sweet 4–5-year-old girl who loves her people, walks, car rides, and snuggling. She can do well with other dogs with slow, proper introductions.

All supplies, support, and veterinary care are provided by Compassion Kind. We just need someone who can open their home to Penni.

If you can foster Penni — even temporarily — please reply or message us ASAP. If you can’t foster, please share. We need to get this girl somewhere safe as quickly as possible.

We are taking in FOUR new rescue intakes TOMORROW, and we urgently need foster homes ready to welcome them. 🐾❤️

Opening your home to a foster literally allows us to say YES to animals who need us — and we provide the support you need along the way!

Some dogs need a foster home.

Asa needs someone willing to show him what a home even means. 🤍

Asa was found as a puppy moving a little differently from other dogs.

We don’t know exactly what caused his funny little walk. Severe malnutrition during development, generations of inbreeding, and the realities of being born and surviving on the streets can leave lasting effects on these dogs.

But Asa doesn’t know he’s “different.”

He’s just Asa. 🥹

He’s not even a year old yet. He’s sweet, gentle, good with dogs and cats, and can be around respectful kids who understand his boundaries.

What Asa needs most is patience.

Human touch is still new to him. He can absolutely be pet, but he needs time to trust you first. He needs someone who won’t rush him, force him, or expect him to become a different dog overnight.

And we truly believe that with one-on-one attention in a loving foster home, this little boy is going to blossom.

We’ve watched dogs like Asa surprise us over and over again once they finally feel safe.

He survived the streets.
He survived being hungry.
He survived when his little body was already struggling.

Now we want him to experience something completely different:

A soft bed.
A full belly.
A patient hand.
A home where being a little different doesn’t make him any less worthy. 🤍

Sweet Arlo urgently needs a foster home before Wednesday! We need someone to step up for this adorable boy so we can keep him safe and cared for. 🐾❤️

VIDA NEEDS A FOSTER. 🤍

We were originally called out simply to spay Vida but when we arrived, we realized she needed so much more.

Vida was barely hanging on. She was skin and bones, covered in ticks and fleas, suffering from severe wounds, blood loss, and maggots. Her ear was badly injured and hanging off, and she had a hole in her neck.

She was only 2–3 years old, yet she had already endured unimaginable suffering. She had many litters of pups that were killed by cars and died on the road too many times to count.

But Vida survived.

Now, she deserves more than survival. She deserves a safe home, a full belly, gentle hands, and someone to love her forever.

We are looking for a foster or, even better, a foster-to-adopt home for this incredibly deserving girl.

AURA’S TURN. 🤍✈️

For most of her life, Aura has been treated like she didn’t belong anywhere.

She was shooed away. Kicked away. Treated like a nuisance instead of a living, feeling being who deserved kindness.

We first found Aura as a puppy on the side of the road, her leg broken, nearly all of her hair gone, and her little body covered in sores.

She was terrified of people, and honestly, who could blame her?

We spent three days tracking her, searching for her, and trying to earn enough trust to finally get her to safety.

And then everything began to change.

The scared, sick little puppy we chased down the side of the road has transformed into the sweetest, most beautiful girl and now, Aura finally has the opportunity to fly to the United States. 🇯🇲✈️🇺🇸

But she needs somewhere to land.

We are looking for a very special foster or foster-to-adopt home in the Tampa Bay area to show Aura what life was always supposed to feel like.

URGENT FOSTER NEEDED FOR ARLO!

Arlo is an adorable 8-to-9-month-old brindle boy who needs a foster home as soon as possible. He is dog friendly, loves people, and is a playful, active pup who is always ready for some fun 💙

Arlo is fully vetted, house trained, and incredibly smart. He is still learning how to share his toys, but he is a happy, loving boy who is eager to learn and thrive in the right home.

Misty has spent five years surviving. We want the rest of her life to be about living. 🤍

This sweet little 15-pound girl has been through absolute hell.

Misty was originally owned by an elderly couple who simply could not provide the care she needed. She was bred over and over again. She wasn’t fed properly and became severely malnourished. And after repeatedly trying to escape through a fence, she was left with a massive wound running down her back.

At only five years old, Misty has already endured more than any dog ever should.

But somehow, she is still SO sweet. Still gentle. Still willing to trust. Still ready to love.

And now we want to show her that life can be so much more.

We want Misty to know soft beds and full bowls. Walks just because the sun is shining. Car rides and adventures. Sniffing new places. Feeling grass under her feet. Falling asleep knowing she is safe. Being someone’s little shadow. Being loved not for what she can produce, but simply because she is Misty.

She deserves the chance to finally just be a dog.

Misty is 5 years old, only 15 pounds, and can live with other dogs and cats. We are looking for a foster beginning Wednesday who can give this incredibly deserving little girl the safe, loving home she should have had from day one.

She lost the first five years of her life to neglect.
