Happy Shaggy Pup Tails to our adorable Otto! This short-leggied cutie joined us in July and stole so many hearts! Today, he joins his perfect forever home, complete with a doggy brother named Henry and a human mama & grandmama to snuggle with and spoil him rotten! Otto is such a loving little guy and is sure to fill his new home with so much love as he has since being in our rescue! He walked right into his new home as if he had been there all along and we live for that! Fostering and Adoption directly saves the lives of incredible & deserving animals in need in our community and we are thrilled to have another find their forever home! Wishing him and his wonderful new family many years together filled with love, joy & lots of pup kisses and tail waggies too! 🐾

😭Sharing because this is in our community.
Many of you know I am a biologist and I have worked in wildlife rehabilitation and conservation for 25 years now alongside the work I do in domestic animal rescue.

😫I cannot tell you the trauma I have witnessed in wildlife, marine and pet rescue work from animals suffering and dying from being poisoned. It stays with you forever.

⛔️I am staunchly against rodenticides and their use in residential neighborhoods, specifically surrounded by preserves, as toxic hazards causing unnecessary and collatetal cruelty to animals.

🙏Please remember that herbicides, pesticides, rodenticides and mothballs are toxic, poisonous, pollutants and can affect pets, wildlife, children and our environment and waterways. 😭

🏵Officially welcoming Sumatra to the rescue. This gorgeous marbled tabby girl was part of our 7️⃣ kitty rescue on Sunday.

❤️‍🩹Sumatra showed up to a colony we've been actively rescuing and TNRing from and was noticed by the caregiver so we took her too! We thought she was going to be feral but turns out, she socialized immediately and is a HUGE snugglebug. 🥰

🌼Sumatra is only 8 weeks old and was extremely underweight, malnourished and covered in fleas. She has been getting small, frequent meals and supplements & already looks so much better. Yay! She is a stunner! 😍

🐱She is one of the most loving & affectionate little kittens and will be available next month! We love her so much! Stay tuned as we grow up another cutie!

🌞Happy Friday from our cutie trio of 5️⃣ week old brothers, Brew, Nitro & Horton.

☕️🧋These cuties are from our current TNR/Rescue Coffee Colony where we took ➕️7️⃣ on Sunday, have TNRed 1️⃣ mama, and took 3️⃣ other kittens 2 months ago.

(And we are going back for more on Saturday 😱)

✨️These boys currently weigh a little over a pound each and have a myriad of medical issues we are treating. 🥴

❤️‍🩹Including:

🕷Fleas
🪱Coccidia
🧫Calcivirus
💩Diarrhea
🩹Upper Respiratory Infections and
💊Mouth Ulcers
...but aside from all that😂 they're happy boys lol. 😷🤢Smelly. Gross, loveable little monsters. 🤪

It's a journey from intake ➡️ health ➡️ adoption

🌱Fostering and Adoption truly saves lives of such deserving animals in our community. It's not always easy but it's always worth it. Our inbox is absolutely booming with more in need. It really hurts our hearts to not be able to save them all but we really and truly are grateful for every precious soul we can rescue & give a better future too. We are thankful for the continued support.
