Between the crosses, row on row,

Slow Hand Salute for a Brother in Arms 🇺🇸

Robert Duvall has reported for his final roll call at the age of 95.

While the world knows him as an Academy Award-winning actor, we remember him as a veteran. The son of a Rear Admiral, Duvall served in the U.S. Army (1953-1954) as a Private First Class. He didn't just play the part; he lived the service.

That real-life experience bled into some of the greatest military portrayals in film history. Whether he was playing Lt. Col. Kilgore in Apocalypse Now or capturing the complex, hard-nosed spirit of a Marine in The Great Santini, Duvall understood the military mindset because he had worn the boots.

As we bid farewell, his words as Augustus McCrae ring truer than ever:

"It ain't dying I'm talking about, it's living. I doubt it matters where you die, but it matters where you live."

Rest easy, soldier. We’ll take the watch from here.

Jefferson wrote this while serving as minister to France, shortly after learning of Shays' Rebellion, an uprising of farmers in Massachusetts against debt-related taxes. Unlike many of his contemporaries (including George Washington) who were alarmed by the insurrection, Jefferson viewed it as a positive sign of a healthy, resistant population.

Jefferson argued that periodic rebellion or "resistance" is necessary to prevent government corruption and to keep rulers accountable. He believed that for liberty to thrive, citizens must be vigilant and, if necessary, willing to fight to defend their rights.

What better way to celebrate 250 years of freedom and 250 years of the greatest nation on earth than by sporting done patriotic threads this 4th of July.

All proceeds go to expanding our mission. Which is honoring veterans who pass in civilian hospitals, where most times no one even knows they are a veteran. We work hand in hand with hospitals to establish a way to identify if a patient is a veteran and then to ensure the are properly honored at the end of life.

Thank you for supporting us, even if it's just a view, a share, or even purchasing something. We are grateful for the support and we are honored to serve our nation's heroes.
