Associated Ministries is an interfaith organization that inspires and mobilizes communities of faith and goodwill to reduce poverty and homelessness, while centering equity and advocating for system change. We believe that by sharing information and experiences online we can engage people of faith and goodwill in deeper conversation and community-building. As with any social endeavor, we need to take some precautions when using social media tools connected with our organization. We reserve the right to remove or disable access to any postings which we deem to be potentially defamatory of any person or group or that could cause Associated Ministries’ mission and purpose in the community to be misconstrued. Associated Ministries’ goal is to extend the conversation beyond our physical doors in a safe online environment where people with various backgrounds, viewpoints and experiences can interact with one another to build stronger communities. This World Homeless Day, we recognize the dignity and worth of every person experiencing homelessness.

Housing is a basic human need, and everyone deserves a safe place to call home. Together, we can help build a Pierce County where every neighbor is seen, valued, and supported. 💙

As summer comes to a close and chilly mornings return, we’re thinking about our unhoused neighbors. A warm blanket can make an important difference. 💙

Associated Ministries is collecting new or gently used, freshly washed blankets through October 16. Invite your congregation, book club, yoga studio or another group to join the drive!

Join us for our next Interfaith Encounters panel and group dialogue as members of Jewish, Muslim, Christian, and other faith traditions explore what their sacred texts teach about justice and how we are called to live today.
