1199 SEIU Upstate NY 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East We are a Union of healthcare workers. We care for the sick, the infirm, the elderly. Ours is noble work.

We work in the homecare, hospital and nursing home industries, as well as pharmacies, freestanding clinics and other healthcare settings. We are dedicated to our patients, our members and our families.

1199SEIU and SEIU Local 200United workers are getting ready today at the Contract Campaign kickoff at 259 Monroe Ave. in the parking lot until 2 PM today. The contract covering more than 2,000 union Hospital and campus workers is set to expire on 9/5. Workers are gathering today to get an update on contract talks, register early for the childcare fund, and other hard earned benefits they will be fighting to protect. 

Lunch is provided by Big Daddy‘s BBQ and ice cream by Roc Hard Corvette club.

1199ers joined Buffalo Central Labor Council at NYSUT today to get ready for tomorrow’s union job fair and back to school giveaway sponsored by Lawrence Dupre for Erie County Legislator . Join us at 820 Northampton St. in Buffalo from 9 AM to 5 PM where we’ll have free haircuts and braids for the kids, backpacks and school supplies, as well as union job opportunities!

👏🏾Thanks to Congressman Timothy Kennedy, Highmark, 1199SEIU, Healthcare Education Project, NYSUT, UFCW, CWA 1168, Buffalo City Council Woman Leah Halton-Pope, TOPS and many individuals for their generous donations.

Must RSVP to Sara O'Neill before Sept. 4 at 315.907.2103 or [email protected].

Each ticket includes: apple picking, 1 pumpkin, corn maze, and lunch.

1199SEIU PAC payers (who contribute at least $10 per month):
The 1199 member PAC payer ticket is free.
Kids under 17 – 1 free ticket, then $5 each additional kid
Non-Member Adult Guest of PAC Payer - $20 each

1199SEIU Non-PAC payers:
1199 Members who do not wish to become PAC Payer: $40
Non-PAC Member Adult Guest - $40 each
Kids under 17 –$5 each kid
Tickets are non-refundable.
