Hello Everyone -- We have an IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT.

Please read the statement below. We are so proud of what we have accomplished as a union. Thank you to everyone who has stood in solidarity with us over the years!

Today we ratified a closing agreement with eBay/TCGplayer with a unanimous vote. After several intensive days of bargaining, sustained pressure from your boycott, and the solidarity of our members, we were able to win a substantially improved severance package for TCGplayer workers.

This package includes:
- 20 weeks severance pay with an additional $2.50/hr above current wages for everyone within the bargaining unit, more than double what we were originally offered
- 6 months of COBRA medical coverage paid for by the company
- 7 months of continued mental health benefits
- $1,250 ratification bonus for everyone in the bargaining unit

This severance agreement makes sure that our members will land firmly on their feet as we all move forward. We are so grateful for the support the TCG community has shown us, and we would not have made it this far without you all. Thank you for standing with us in solidarity and being such great allies in our fight.

In this time of extreme inequality, it is more important than ever for the working class to organize. TCGunion-CWA built collective power for hundreds of workers in Syracuse, joining together to fight for fair treatment for all. We fought back against a multi-billion dollar corporation, changing our understanding of the power we wield, and we will carry that with us forever.

eBay could only beat our union by closing down the entire Authentication Center and leaving town. We live in a time of unchecked corporate power, and still we brought them to the table again and again. From Syracuse to Louisville, workers everywhere deserve rights, respect, and dignity on the job. As long as we don’t stop fighting for it, we will win.

Rain, snow, sleet or shine -- holds the picket line! 🌨️💪

We held another picket outside to call out spineless tech oligarchs like Rob Bigler who are making billions while exploiting everyday people. After 500+ days of bargaining, we are just now discussing economics with the company.

It's been over 3 years since members got a raise. eBay does not provide a living wage. Our members have been EXCLUDED from enhanced benefits, like screenings and bereavement. TCGplayer, eBay, Rob — when will enough be enough?

Last week, we gathered local labor leaders and union members across Syracuse to hold a “Syracuse Stand Up! Building Labor’s Power in 2025” to highlight worker power in our community 💪

We are calling on eBay to negotiate a fair contract that provides thriving wages, benefits, and more. When we fight, we win!

and think shirking responsibility and moving at a glacial pace constitutes bargaining in good faith. They continue to disrespect our time and effort at the bargaining table while forcing a cynical war of attrition upon us.

Last week, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander sent a statement on eBay’s hollow lip-service toward “bargaining in good faith.” One of our members also did an interview for the wonderful detailing the financial and mental harm the company chooses to inflict upon us instead of working seriously and expeditiously toward our first contract. This behavior cannot be allowed to continue, and we will continue doing everything in our power to hold eBay and TCGPlayer accountable for their actions.

What happens in Vegas doesn’t stay in Vegas for our Union! Today at the AC, our coworkers stood strong against and ‘s stalling at the bargaining table! Three years with no raise is unacceptable and we WILL NOT stand for it! ✊

We’re out flyering today in NYC at eBay board member and Microsoft EVP Aparna Chennapragada’s event with CWA Local 1104 and . For as long as and delay, refuse to pass proposals, and stall bargaining, will continue to fight. ✊
