Workers across the US shouldn’t have to wait years for their first union contract! Our very own technicians have been waiting for nearly two years for a first contract!
Workers have the right to a collective bargaining agreement after they vote for a union, but the law is full of loopholes, and companies drag out the negotiation process for years. On average today, it takes 458 days to secure a first contract!
There is a resolution right now. The Faster Labor Contracts Act establishes a reliable timeframe for first contract bargaining and wouldn’t allow companies to walk the dog on negotiations.
Even with strong bipartisan support, the Faster Labor Contracts Act has waited nearly two years for a vote.
We need our elected politicians to hold Big Business accountable.

The working class is tired of not having their voices heard! We organize but than we hit a wall waiting and watching these companies hold up contract negotiations! They tell you they care as they work behind the scenes to suppress and destroy your rights to a fair labor contract!
The FASTER LABOR CONTRACTS ACT can take away the company’s power to starve you out and forces them to acknowledge and accept your rights to an agreement. Please take action and get on your local political figures to help pass this strong bipartisan supported legislation.
Teamsters are done waiting!
