Nine years of Renewal.

As we celebrate our 9th anniversary, we’re taking some time to look back and give thanks for all that God has done over the years.

We’re thankful for the people who have called Renewal home, the friendships that have grown, the families that have been formed, and the many ways our community has grown both within our church and beyond it.

Through different seasons, God has continued to bring people together to worship, serve, pray, and walk through life alongside one another. We’re grateful for every person who has been part of that story.

Happy 9th anniversary, Renewal.

Renewal Advanced brought home the championship yesterday for the second year in a row! Down 3–10 in the 4th inning, the team could’ve counted themselves out. Instead, they kept fighting, rallied together, and pulled off an incredible comeback to win 16–11!

But one of the best parts of the season has been everything beyond the scoreboard. So many Renewal people came out to cheer, encourage, and celebrate with the team and our softball games have been a sweet place for fellowship, friendship, and inviting our non believing softball friends into the life of our church.

A championship is worth celebrating, but we’re even more grateful for the community God is building through something as simple as a softball game.

We’re excited to send our next summer missions team to Cisterna di Latina, Italy! The team will be serving alongside Living Word Church from August 14–24.

As they prepare to go, please join us in prayer for the following prayer requests:

🙏 For the team - that they would be intentional, united, and have diligent hearts to serve wherever God leads them.

🙏 For Living Word Church - that their congregational retreat would be a time of blessing, encouragement, and spiritual renewal.

🙏 For their youth outreach - that God would place His covering over each outreach event throughout the week and prepare the hearts of the youth they meet.

Please pray for our team as we prepare to go, serve, and trust God with every opportunity.

Join us for the Summer 2026 College Group Kickoff! ☀️

Whether you’re home for the break or new to the area, we’d love to meet you! Come connect with our summer leaders and other students at Panama Park on May 30 at 4 PM for an afternoon of fellowship and fun.

We’ll be kicking things off with a game of kickball, so come ready to play in athletic clothes! Please fill out the RSVP form (http://bit.ly/4wmPkPs) so we can coordinate rides and get an accurate headcount. We can’t wait to see you there!

Last Sunday we celebrated such a special moment in our church family.

We welcomed Paul Kim and Kevin Jin as they stepped into membership, and celebrated Joanne Fong as our first youth group student who got baptized!

We praise God for each of you and your commitment to Renewal and to following Jesus. Excited for all that’s ahead!

Passion Week is almost here!

As we prepare our hearts for Good Friday and Easter Sunday, Renewal Church is entering a church-wide fast. This means fasting one meal a day + media, using that time to pray over our 3x3x3 cards and be in the Word.

Celebrate the resurrection with us! Invite someone and stay for lunch, kids activities, and games after service.

As Passion Week approaches and we prepare to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus this Easter, we invite you to join our 3x3x3 initiative:

🙏 Pray for 3 people
⏱ For 3 minutes a day
📅 For 3 weeks

Our hope is that we would be praying for, and intentionally sharing the gospel with, these three people during the Easter season.

📌 Starting this Sunday!
Don’t forget to pick up a 3x3x3 card, fill it out, and submit it in the collection box at the welcome table this Sunday.

We’ll also be praying over every card at our Friday night prayer meetings.

This past weekend at youth retreat was such a gift! The youth dove deep into Proverbs, learned how to build meaningful quiet times, and discovered why daily time with God matters. They saw hearts open through intentional prayer, from leaders to students and students to each other, and watched their faith grow as they chose trust over fear.

So grateful for what God is doing in our youth. This is only the beginning!

Praise God for a joyful Baptism & Membership Sunday last week!

We’re celebrating with Kenneth Fong, who made a public declaration of his faith in Jesus through baptism, and we’re so thankful to welcome 15 new members into the Renewal church family.

What a gift it is to walk together as a local body. So grateful for all God is doing!
