This weekend, our top popcorn sellers earned a trip to Camp Rainey Mountain. We had such a wonderful time - hiking, swimming, boating, archery, rock climbing, arts and crafts and SO MUCH MORE

This weekend we had an ice cream social and flag retirement ceremony with the American Legion Post 166. Our pack was honored with a certificate for participating in today’s flag retirement ceremony as well as the memorial day placing of flags on veteran’s final resting place.

🎄 A Cub Scout Christmas Morning 🎄

In homes across the Lowcountry,
before the dawn’s first light,
a hush lay soft like winter snow,
on this calm and joyful night.

Stockings hung and trees aglow,
the world wrapped warm and bright,
and Scouts slept sound with dreams of cheer
’til morning broke in sight.

Then tiny feet hit hallway floors,
the day had finally come,
a day of laughter, love and light,
of families joined as one.

But even in the magic,
with gifts and cocoa too,
our Scouts remember kindness
and the Good Turn that they do.

For Christmas isn’t only gifts—
it’s service, heart and care,
helping those around us
with a smile we gladly share.

So from our mighty Pack 742,
to each family far and near,
we send warm wishes, love and joy,
this Merry Christmas cheer.

May peace and wonder fill your home,
may hearts be shining bright,
and may the spirit of Scouting
guide us kindly through the night.
