Through the distribution of water and sanitary pads, we were able to show that every child matters and deserves care, dignity, and support.

Participants will gain practical insights into how to promote women’s leadership in politics, prevent and respond to violence in communities, and support transparent, credible, and peaceful electoral processes.

Some battles don’t make noise. They don’t show up in broken bones or loud cries, they sit quietly in the mind, in the chest, in the spaces between breaths. Today, remember that just because someone looks “okay” doesn’t mean they are. And even for yourself, strength isn’t always pushing through, it’s recognizing when you need to pause, feel, and be honest about what’s heavy inside.

Healing is not linear. There will be days you feel powerful and days you feel like you’re starting over. Both days are valid. Both days are part of the process. You are not behind, you are not weak, you are human, carrying things that aren’t always visible to the world.

So today, choose gentleness. Speak to yourself with patience. Check in with someone, even if it’s just a simple “are you okay?” And if you’re the one struggling, let this be your reminder: you don’t have to carry everything alone. There is strength in reaching out, in being seen, in allowing yourself to be supported.

You’re still here, and that matters more than you realize.
