If any of you living around Leadmine Mountain noticed flashlights, rustling, or whistling this evening, don't worry, it wasn't a bear (or so they say). It was Central Massachusetts Search And Rescue Team!

These pumpkin heads are volunteers that are nationally certified to find and rescue missing people. They support local public safety and it takes a lot of work to do what they do. Tonight, they were practicing searching in the dark, which can be very dangerous (speaking from experience).

They are a great group of people. Hit them up and show them some love! https://www.cmsart.org/

The Sturbridge CERT program is grateful for the exceptional training provided by Lt. Ashe of the Sturbridge Fire Department on Saturday morning. The session covered critical topics including CPR for infants, children, and adults, choking, AED use, and naloxone administration. We were also very pleased to see the department's LUCAS device up close. Thank you to Lt. Ashe for investing your time in our team's development and spending your whole Saturday morning with us. We feel fortunate to have such dedicated professionals in our community.
