Community Food Collaborative We donate 100% of what we grow to the St. John Paul II Pantry, Food Share & Bridge Fridge

CFC is a volunteer-based non-profit community organization that has come together to build a community garden to provide fresh, organic vegetables for those in need.

A mini version of the popular Butternut Squash. These little ones are ready for picking at 100 days.
They have a savory/sweet flavor and store well for about two months.
They will be cured for a bit longer then off to the Food PantriesđŸ˜‹

Rain,rain go away! Once again we need to cancel volunteer hours. Don’t worry, we did harvest veggies for Food Share this afternoon.

Due to the forecast, Tuesday, September 1st volunteer hours are canceled.
Thursday we will harvest and garden.

Today we harvested veggies for St. John Paul II pantry. It was plentiful!

Tomatillos have overwhelmed a corner of the garden. Today garden tenders reclaimed this far corner by a severe pruning. No worries...still many many tomatillos to ripen soon.
