Today was the last harvest of the season. Produce went to St. John Paul II Pantry and some will go to Food Share.
It’s a happy time, more relief like, no longer having to worry about healthy plants, water, fertilizer, etc. Thank goodness we had a great team this year! And sad, no more produce for pantries and the sure knowledge that winter is coming.

Upcoming event is Fall Cleanup day, Saturday October 17th. More information to come.

Today was one of the last harvest days of the year. One or two more left.
We picked the last of the eggplant and summer squash, tomatillos and ground cherries. There will be more peppers next week and cilantro. And lots of winter squashes are curing for the pantries. Picked basil’s and chives as well.
Our harvest today will go to Food Share tomorrow along with some red and green tomatoes.
