Volunteer Opportunity!
The Friends of Sturbridge Trails is currently looking for a couple more people to step up and help organize and run parts of our organization.
This is not the “heavy lift” of trail tools and construction (yes you can help there) but more organizational and administration, public relations, event/activity planning and assistance, record keeping, etc

Did you know the Sturbridge Trail Committee has a group of volunteers that work during the week? We call them our "Weekday Crew" they get together one weekday afternoon, weather dependent and take on 1 or more small trail projects. Today, the guys installed a bench up on the Cistern Trail, Riverlands property and replaced a broken gate post on one of the Leadmine trails access points.
This is a great way to get outdoors for an afternoon and help our many trail users and volunteers. Interested in learning more? send an email to Tom Chamberland, at [email protected].
The weekday crew is made up of retired folks and those that work an early shift, or a late shift, and have a few hours a week do help out. all tools and equipment provided. Come join the Fun!
