Mid-Atlantic Masters Ski Racing Mid-Atlantic Masters Ski Racing is open to all recreational skiers, regardless of ability. Good courses, great people, and lots of fun.

Whether you compete as an individual or on a ski club team, Mid-Atlantic Masters has what you're looking for - good courses, great people, and lots of fun! We welcome skiers of all levels, including former junior or college racers and racing parents. Whether you compete as an individual or on a ski club team, the Mid-Atlantic (MA) Masters Race Series has what you're looking for. We encourage famil

y participation, and provide seasonal awards for families, teams, and individuals. Above all, our primary goal is to have fun and enjoy challenging ski racing at the same time. MA Masters hosts races from December through March in New York, Vermont, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We hold GS, SL, and SG races. Points are awarded by finish position in each age category and season champions are recognized at the MA Masters Championships in March. Teams are also scored at each race and for the overall team championship. Random-drawing (door) prizes are awarded throughout the season too, so you may win sponsor prizes even if you don't win a medal.

[Reposting due to some photo mistakes on the earlier attempt!] Congrats to the U.S. racers who traveled to Levi, Finland, for the FIS Masters Cup Finals! Four Eastern racers (all Mid-Atlantic members) were in contention for crystal gloves, and ended the weekend in the top 5 in their age classes: Mark (1st), Eric (1st), Connor (2nd), and Margaret (4th). Great skiing everyone!

Other top U.S. performances included Lisa Ballard (3rd in age group, 1st overall SG, 2nd overall GS, 2nd overall all women over 60), Rick Slabinski (1st overall SG), Pepi Neubauer (1st in age group), and Michaela West (6th in age group).

If you want to do some FMC races next year, check the U.S. Masters website for info! Finals is scheduled for Big Sky, MT, in April 2027.

Congrats to everyone from the East (Mid-Atlantic, New England, New York, and Southern Masters) who participated in the Masters National Championships last week at Mammoth! As you can tell from the photo, Eastern racers came home with lots of awards 🥇🥈🥉
Team Eastern also placed second overall in the Divisions Cup! What a great way to wrap up the Masters race season.

Remember to register for our Gore races! Gore is going to have perfect racing weather this weekend and their snow surface is second-to-none right now. These races are shaping up to be one of the highlights of the season! Schedule is 2xSG on Friday (both count for national speed series points), GS and gala on Saturday, SL on Sunday.
