We welcome skiers of all levels, including former junior or college racers and racing parents. Whether you compete as an individual or on a ski club team, the Mid-Atlantic (MA) Masters Race Series has what you're looking for. We encourage famil

y participation, and provide seasonal awards for families, teams, and individuals. Above all, our primary goal is to have fun and enjoy challenging ski racing at the same time. MA Masters hosts races from December through March in New York, Vermont, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We hold GS, SL, and SG races. Points are awarded by finish position in each age category and season champions are recognized at the MA Masters Championships in March. Teams are also scored at each race and for the overall team championship. Random-drawing (door) prizes are awarded throughout the season too, so you may win sponsor prizes even if you don't win a medal.

Big news flying in just as fast as Jason Beland in Super-G…Gore Mountain will be hosting the 2027 Eastern Regional Championships from February 26-28! We couldn’t be more thrilled to return to Gore for Easterns this season. One of the best race teams in the East and always a fun weekend. Thank you Gore Mountain and NYSEF @ Gore Mountain for inviting Masters back!

We’re excited to partner with Endless Winter Performance to offer a lane of dedicated slalom coaching at Big Snow on August 29 and 30! Camp runs from 7-10am on both days, before Big Snow opens to the public.

Masters participants will be coached by Mike Mandel, a USSS level 300 certified alpine coach. Expect great coaching and lots of opportunities to practice in full size slalom gates!

Registering for this one requires two steps:

[Reposting due to some photo mistakes on the earlier attempt!] Congrats to the U.S. racers who traveled to Levi, Finland, for the FIS Masters Cup Finals! Four Eastern racers (all Mid-Atlantic members) were in contention for crystal gloves, and ended the weekend in the top 5 in their age classes: Mark (1st), Eric (1st), Connor (2nd), and Margaret (4th). Great skiing everyone!

Other top U.S. performances included Lisa Ballard (3rd in age group, 1st overall SG, 2nd overall GS, 2nd overall all women over 60), Rick Slabinski (1st overall SG), Pepi Neubauer (1st in age group), and Michaela West (6th in age group).

If you want to do some FMC races next year, check the U.S. Masters website for info! Finals is scheduled for Big Sky, MT, in April 2027.

Congrats to everyone from the East (Mid-Atlantic, New England, New York, and Southern Masters) who participated in the Masters National Championships last week at Mammoth! As you can tell from the photo, Eastern racers came home with lots of awards 🥇🥈🥉
Team Eastern also placed second overall in the Divisions Cup! What a great way to wrap up the Masters race season.
