Bring close toed shoes, bug spray, gloves, and water. Tools provided, but feel free to BYO shovels, Mcleods, rakes, and loppers.

Riding season is here and it is SO GOOD. Whether you’re a long time local or a visitor, if you’ve enjoyed the trails please remember to join or renew your membership and add as your primary chapter.

We are almost entirely funded by memberships and donations. Without them we cannot build and maintain our trails. Thanks to Kelsie and Niels on our paid trail crew, Cady Hill is running as smooth as ever. Help them keep up the good work with a donation today 👊🪏

The trailwork opportunities just keep on coming! Meet at the Haul Rd Class IV entrance off of Luce Hill rd. At 5:30 on Monday 5/18 to keep working on lower Serenity and Adrenaline. Send us a DM if you want us to send you a location pin.

If you’re looking to work on drops, dig berms, and piece together cool rock work, this is for you! No prior experience needed. Tools provided.

Wear close toed shoes and bring gloves and bug spray.

A little April snow did not stop us from getting out on the Rooney Farm property with prospective trail builders today. This was a great opportunity to get another look at the forest without summer foliage in the way while showing it to the folks who could end up bidding on projects there.

The trails don’t build and maintain themselves! Here at Stowe Trails we maintain over 40 miles of trails for hiking, riding, and winter activities while planning for future trail development. While the trails are free to use, they are far from free to build and maintain. Just one mile of professionally built trail can cost over $40,000 and much of our maintenance is done by our paid trail crew (thanks Kelsie and Niels!)

If you’ve enjoyed in the past or plan to ride them this summer, please consider making a donation in addition to your annual membership. We have a lot of cool stuff on tap for this summer, but it cannot happen without your support!

We know everyone is excited for warm weather riding and for the trails to open, but a friendly reminder that trails are currently CLOSED.

We close the trails in transition seasons like mud season because our trails need to dry out. Annually, we put thousands of dollars into maintaining our trails for you to use when they are open. In order to maintain our precious resource, we need to ensure we can maintain them sustainably, which means closing them for now.

We appreciate you waiting to ride the trails and recommend some stellar gravel riding in the area this time of year.
