Max Trzebiatowski, Dave Ray, and Dave Wysocki, thank you for your service as board members that have helped us stay true to our mission of inspiring charitable giving by connecting people and resources to enhance Central Wisconsin now and for future generations.

Music has the power to inspire, connect, and transform communities. At our June Voices of Impact session, we welcomed Lawrence Leviton to share the story and legacy of the Copernicus Cultural Foundation and its lasting commitment to expanding access to music throughout Portage County.

The new Copernicus Foundation Music Grant Program will award $40,000 in grants this year to support and enhance local music opportunities. Please learn more about this grant cycle that opens July 1 and is open until August 31, here: https://cfcwi.org/copernicus-foundation-music-grants/
Thank you, Lawrence, for sharing your passion, stories, and vision for the future of music in our community.

We hope you can join us on July 13th with our guests from Guns N’ Hoses. During this session, attendees will learn how the Guns N' Hoses Fund supports and honors Portage County veterans through community events, grants for veteran-focused programs, and the construction and maintenance of memorials that recognize the service and sacrifice of local veterans. Representatives will also share the impact of the fund's work and how it continues to strengthen and support our community. What a fantastic way to kick off summer!

The Community Foundation is proud to sponsor the 2026 CREATE Portage County Levitt Amp Concert Series as they celebrate 10 years of bringing FREE live music, community connection, and summer fun to Portage County.

Every Thursday evening through August, the Pfiffner Park Bandshell comes alive with great music, the CREATE Market, food trucks, beverages, and neighbors gathering together. We were thrilled to be part of opening night and can't wait for another amazing season of music and community.

Thank you, CREATE Portage County, for creating vibrant experiences that bring people together and strengthen our community!

Five years ago, Jenny Riggenbach stepped into the CEO role with a full heart and, in her words, "a little bit of awe." Today, she's reflecting on what five years of trust, growth, and community love really looks like. From 1,082 scholarship recipients to crossing $50 million in assets, and what she's most called to do next.
