We have been closely monitoring the air quality and tomorrow’s weather forecast, and we have made the official decision to move forward with the meet. According to our local news and AccuWeather, air quality is expected to drop significantly from the current dangerous level to the yellow level, which is considered potentially unhealthy for sensitive groups. The predicted thunderstorms have also shifted from the morning to mid‑day.
Based on this information, we have decided to run the meet as scheduled. We completely understand if any athlete chooses not to participate, and we encourage each family to make the decision that feels right for them. If we cancel, we do not have the ability to reschedule, so we are in favor of holding the meet.

Due to Big Red’s graduation, PRACTICE IS CANCELED on Tuesday night May 26! See everyone on Thursday May 28.

Registration for Steuben Strider 2026 Summer Track Program

Date: Saturday, May 2nd
Time: 10:30am to 4:00pm
Where: Froelich’s Classic Corner
Ages: For children ages 5 to 18 as of December 31st, 2026

What to bring:
• Birth certificate, for new athletes only
• $30 per child
This includes: 3 meets, use of uniform for the season (must be returned at end of season),and Athlete’s Awards Banquet Ticket

Practice will begin on May 14th at Harding Track and will run every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00pm.
