If you recall, back in June we reported that our Policy Specialist, Christen Commuso, had drafted new legislation and was working with Congress to include the language in a new, comprehensive Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA) bill. The proposed changes, if passed, would allow parents to file claims on behalf of their deceased children, remove age requirements for leukemia claims, and add more Missouri ZIP codes to the program, among other important revisions.
Today, we are proud to announce that the new RECA bill has been introduced by Representative Moylan of Guam and co-sponsored by Missouri Representative Wesley Bell.

Please read Christen's blog post for more information on the new legislation and ways you can support it.
