Join us Tuesday, June 9, for the next Big Muddy Speaker Series as environmental writer and author George Frazier shares stories from his new book Riverine Dreams: Away to the Glorious and Forgotten Grassland Rivers of America. Together, we’ll explore the remarkable rivers of North America’s grasslands and the growing movement to restore and celebrate them. The Missouri River plays a central role in that story.
From ancient river forests and massive fish migrations to bison restoration and prairie conservation, this presentation connects the history, ecology, and future of some of our continent’s most overlooked landscapes.
