Please plan to join us on June 9th to welcome new members and prepare for the next season of volunteer tree care! Watering! The orientation is aimed at getting new members acquainted with how we partner with the City of St. Louis Forestry Division to care for neighborhood trees, what to expect at tree care events, and how you can get involved.
At this time we will also walk through using the volunteer registration platform, Civic Champs to easily register for events and track your volunteer hours, so your impact is counted and helps us grow this neighborhood-led urban forestry program.
Your time is valuable and we appreciate it. We planned the session so current volunteers can choose to opt out of the new member orientation portion of the event.
The last 75 minutes will focus on welcoming new volunteers, getting to know one another, celebrating our past work, and planning for the upcoming season of tree care (watering, mulching, planting). It’s a great chance to learn and meet other neighbors who are eager to make positive changes like yourself. So feel free to invite your friends and neighbors!!
