Help us welcome to a new neighborhood to the StlNF lineup, Tower Grove South. Emily Bachert has stepped up to lead our urban canopy efforts in TGS and is starting off with a bang with two scheduled blitzes each month. One will be on third Thursdays from 11:00am to 1:00pm, perfect for people with weekday daytime availability. The other will be on 4th Saturdays, 8:00am to 10:00am in the summer and 10:00am to noon starting in October. Many other TGS residents have expressed an interest in helping with this good work and we are hoping to see you out there as Emily gets this chapter off the ground. Thank you Emily, hooray for StlNF and Go Trees!

Y’all really showed up. 🌳💚
Thank you to everyone who donated! Because of you, more trees get watered, more neighborhoods get cared for, and fewer volunteers have to survive on sheer determination and granola bars alone.
Seriously though — your support means the world to us. You’re helping grow cooler, healthier, more beautiful communities one tree at a time.
Now go drink some water like we keep telling the trees to do.”

Forest Park Southeast tree care event not only did we remove collars they had outgrown. We also did some light clearance pruning to lift the visibility and head/car clearance along the sidewalk

Hearing Mark Fish break down the importance of clearance pruning reminds us that tree care isn’t just about branches… it’s about safety, beauty, and protecting the spaces we all share.

We’re lucky to have leaders like Mark guiding the work and setting the standard for what it means to invest in a neighborhood.

If you’ve ever enjoyed the shade of a healthy tree, walked a safe sidewalk, or felt proud of your block — this is your chance to give back.

Every contribution helps us keep doing this work. Every dollar supports stronger, safer streets.

🌱 Give where you live. Grow what you love.

This kind of connection doesn’t fade. Trees grow with us. They witness our lives, and if we care for them, they’re still here when we come back.

Every Tree is a natural filter for the air we breath! Trees take in dirty air and give us clean air all day long. Our healthy mature trees do the most to clean the air. Help us give newly planted trees a good start. We are building the tree canopy that cleans the air we breath. Click here to donate: https://www.givestlday.org/organization/Stlnf
