Our mission is to increase the size and health of STL's tree canopy by educating, equipping, and empowering residents to care for and protect city trees. Every second Saturday of each month, STL TreeLC hosts a neighborhood pruning blitz at 9 AM. We're always taking requests for where our efforts are needed. Drop us a message and let us know if you find an area in need of care. Our monthly planning meetings occur on the fourth Thursday of every month at 6 PM. Bring your ideas, questions, and passion for helping our trees flourish! Note: Due to the holiday season and preparing for the next calendar year, these dates will differ for the months of November and December.

Join us for the test run of our new Tree Care Bike Blitz this Sunday. We will be led by Lucy Taylor as she works the bugs out of a bike based blitz. The focus here is on clearing invasives away from traffic signs especially around parks and schools. Meet in Forest Park at the Visitor's Center at 10:30 Sunday the 20th and plan to roam neighborhoods we do not currently serve. We are hoping to get the word out about what we do and what we need from neighbors to new neighborhoods in the city. Expect to ride. Expect to learn the apps. Expect to get some good work done and talk to people you meet about baby trees and expanding the program. :)

It's so good for us to care. This week think water! Look for baby trees you can tend with a bucket or a hose. Doesn't matter if you rent. Doesn't matter if it's not your forever home. It's the tree's forever home! Help those babies make it through the hot so they can take care of us someday. :)
