THIS Saturday-April 25th, make sure you go through the park before 4pm- they have a reservation only event that evening.

FYI for this Friday, April 3rd- late opening for the park.
Also be sure to check out the St. Louis County Parks and Recreation 's new map of the parks and their statuses linked on their post. Now you can check before you go to Lone Elk (or any other STL County park) and make sure they are open!🦬

Lone Elk Park will have a late opening today, Wednesday, April 1. The Bison area will remain closed for the entire day and on Thursday, April 2. The park will also open late on Friday, April 3.

A friendly warning that this guy is VERY protective of the herd cows who are all being corralled in the fenced barn area at the end of the road to the White Tail Deer shelter area. He attacked our vehicle this afternoon and chased us up the road. This was only in relation to the herd in the pen...turn around before that!!!
