Want a free ticket to a Farm Tour? We're looking for a handful of folks to help with our Farm Tours this season. Volunteers will assist Known & Grown staff with setup, directing attendee parking, registration, and breakdown. Some tours may also have more specific volunteer roles. Volunteer shifts are generally 2.5 hours long โ€“ check each listing for specific times. As most tasks will be before and after the tour, volunteers should be able to participate in most Farm Tour activities.

Many thanks to Paul Krautmann of Bellews Creek Farm for hosting our recent Field Day on building soil with cover crops. Paul provided a live demonstration on how he terminates his winter cover crops during the spring to prepare for summer crops. It was a great opportunity to learn from someone who has been implementing soil conservation practices like cover crops for over 50 years!
