What does PTO do, at SCW?
- Build school spirit
- Foster communication between home & school
- Encourage parental involvement – stay connected, at a time when kids are
trying not to have their parents be so present
- Work together toward common goals
- Improve our school, for the benefit of our children & the community
How?

- School spirit and enthusiasm at ga

- Promoting positivity
- Meetings once a month, in the library
- 1 hour time limit
- Sponsor Washers Tournament (adult event)
- PTO concession stand, provide refreshments & snacks at games and events
- Spirit Wear – GO WARRIORS!
- Traditions (graduation lock-in at RecPlex for graduating seniors)
- Student scholarships and grants ($500 college scholarships & club/team
scholarships)
- Busses & entry fees provided for students to attend post-season games
- Purchased and/or contributed to:
- Steve Stahl sign, in front of football stadium
- Picnic tables and trees for outdoor patio at football stadium
- SCW wraps on Gym doors
- Lettering in fencing, in the stadium
How can you help (raise school spirit, get involved, and make the high school years awesome)?
- Join PTO!
- Follow us on Twitter () & Facebook (St. Charles West PTO)
- Come to membership meetings - 1 hour time limit
- Volunteer to help at events (we have fun!)
- time slots vary & can be adjusted to fit your schedule
- we won’t keep you if you’re not needed, but you’ll still get credit!
- it’s okay to help out once, or 10 times (we’ll appreciate it all!)
- every 6 shifts worked is an entry into lottery scholarship drawing
- Get involved - if your student plays a sport or is involved in a club, get to know the other parents on the team/club, rally together, have FUN!
