Hello all - Dave Owens here.

What kind kind of models have you been working on?

Although many regard the cooler times of the years as model railroading time, I try to keep busy all year.

My focus has been on completing projects I started but never finished. I’ve also fit in some new stuff, such as the NYC Flexi van tractors pictured.

I also am close to finishing a Walthers PRR/PC tower. That’s been sitting on a self for a couple years.

I also finished up some 3D printed International trucks.

What have you been working on?

We are well into prototype meet season. Coming up this weekend are Naperville and Colorado.

My paint booth is finally back in action. But I needed to devise some model holders before I could paint them. A few of these tools are shared in the latest DesignBuildOp blog post.

I know this looks like a royal mess, but I’ve noticed many paint booths have a similar appearance. I finally got into gear and got the paint booth up and working.
