We are still collecting lap blankets, hats, gloves etc for homeless veterans.

And wouldn't it be cool to do some of that knitting and crocheting with each other on the premises?

What do you think about starting a knitting and crochet club at the legion?

We could call it something like, "Hooks and Needles," or "Yarn Brigade."

Hi everyone! My brain has been on FIRE thinking about this. We have an ongoing project for helping veterans stay warm by donating, hats, gloves, scarves, blankets etc. We also have a lot of Auxillary members and members of the community that do crochet and knitting.

What do you think about having a crochet and knitting group that meets a few times a month to make things for homeless veterans. We could have a different focus for every meeting. One meeting starts on gloves. The next meeting starts on scarves. Then do blankets and so on.

Please let me know your thoughts!
