A couple of weeks ago, our EI families met at McCray's Farm in South Hadley for our last Playgroup of the school year.

Everyone had a wonderful time seeing the animals and enjoying yummy ice cream!

It's always so great to get to see our families connecting and seeing the kids making new memories and connections about our world.

Last week, we enjoyed our annual Field Day!

We started with our traditional Tug of War games and our potato sack hoppity hop races.

There was so much for the kids to do: Face painting! Obstacle courses! Water games! Dunking water on our retiring President and helping to keep him cool!

It was an amazing day! Field Day is the BEST!!

Massachusetts has a new charitable contributions deduction. It's available to all taxpayers, whether or not you itemize deductions on your federal return. Just keep track of your contributions and report them on the state tax return you file in the first part of 2027. They'll be deducted from your taxable income. This deduction is universal, and permanent, so you can utilize it every year going forward.

To take advantage of this deduction, consider supporting our educational mission by visiting https://www.wrsdeaf.org/support-us.

Our students and staff send their heartfelt thanks and appreciation in advance.

Support WRSD and our mission to educate deaf and hard of hearing children in the western Massachusetts region.
