Longmeadow UNICO With a motto of "Service Above Self," the Longmeadow Chapter of UNICO National was chartered in October 2000.

The all-gender club raises funds to benefit programs for education, mental health and Italian culture in Longmeadow and surrounding communities. The club's name, translated from Italian, means "one" or "only" or "onl

y one of its kind." Additionally, the letters are interpreted as U for Unity, N for Neighborliness, I for Integrity, C for Charity, and O for Opportunity.
