The Longmeadow Chapter of UNICO National was proud to once again support NAMI-Western Massachusetts, Inc.'s annual Walkathon. NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, has been a cornerstone of our charitable works since our chapter was formed in 2000.

NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental illness can build better lives. NAMI envisions a world where all people affected by mental illness live healthy, fulfilling lives supported by a community that cares.

We strongly encourage all of our friends and followers to support this worthy organization.

Put on your running shoes and join us Sept. 9 for the 2nd annual Longmeadow UNICO Fun Run & 5K at Storrs Library in Longmeadow. Proceeds benefit Storrs Library as well as Longmeadow UNICO's charitable works. Everyone who registers for the 5K will receive a T-shirt while supplies last. For more information and to enter, visit

We are accepting applications for our 2023 $1,000 high school scholarships. Applicants must be a senior at East Longmeadow, Longmeadow or Minnechaug Regional high school of Italian heritage. Application forms are available at each high school’s office, or one can be printed from the images below. Send completed applications, essays and transcripts to Longmeadow UNICO, P.O. Box 60992, Longmeadow, MA 01106-0092, or [email protected]. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on April 15. Applicants must plan to attend the Longmeadow UNICO Scholarship Dinner as guests of the club on Tuesday, May 23, at Twin Hills Country Club.
