A letter from Dr. Mark Flattery of Network211.

Dear Friends:



I will start by saying to you, our Light for the Lost friends and ministry colleagues, thank you for ALL that you are doing to equip and empower missionaries around the world to share the Good News of Jesus Christ! Together, God has called us to fulfill the Great Commission!



One vital aspect of reaching everyone, everywhere with the Gospel is that the Truth of Jesus Christ must be preached. “And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” (Romans 10:14c). In order to preach to them, we must be present in their world, learn their customs and culture, earn the right to speak, and build redemptive bridges in an effort to communicate the Gospel. This is all necessary because people are different. Different cultures, customs, languages, worldviews, religious views, politics, and morals. World missionary endeavors are vital because people are different.



At the same time . . .



While this continues to remain true, at the same time, there are commonalities in the 21st century that are factors in our ability to fulfill the Great Commission. Allow me to share briefly three important commonalities.



First, there is a commonality that over 6 billion individuals are now Internet Users. This estimated figure represents about 73% of the world’s population. When people get online, they immediately develop their Global Individuality persona. Global Individuality is the mindset that empowers individuals in the global marketplace as people take control of what content they consume and their activities and persona online. This means that a man raised in a Muslim tradition, who could never approach a Christian in real life or read a Bible, can go online and find Jesus Christ as the Answer to his life dilemmas. Technology is the current version of the biblical Roman roads that the Church utilizes to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.

Second, there is a commonality of human nature. While people around the world feel depression for a myriad of reasons, the point is that they are depressed and the antidote is allowing Jesus Christ to lead you in your life journey. Network211 identified thirteen life issues that are relevant in most cultures, meet people at their point of need, and share Christ.

Third, there is a commonality of Answer and He is Jesus. As mentioned, the universality of the Gospel, the Love of God, is for ALL people, at ALL times, and in ALL situations. We must proclaim Christ!



Yes, we must continue to build redemptive bridges. At the same time, we must recognize commonalities of individuals around the world. All is in an effort to provide Gospel access to everyone, everywhere!



Once again, I want to express my deepest thanks to LFTL for your strategic investment in Network211, as together, we share the Good News to individuals around the world. For every $1 we invest in evangelism, there are 15 Gospel presentations. Fifteen people can hear that Jesus is the Answer and that He loves them.

..physical and spiritual healing in the lives of traumatized Christians in Burkina Faso. In recent years, invading Islamists have displaced 2 million people and killed many Christians. Of Burkina’s population of 24 million, 25% are Muslim.



…Chinese “missionaries” in Linxia, China, who are stepping up their evangelism efforts among the Muslims in that area. Linxia has been one of the main religious centers of China’s Muslim community, earning itself the nickname of “the little Mecca of China.”



…Nahid in Bangladesh. As a young adult Muslim, Nahid read the Scripture in order to refute it. The power of conviction fell upon him and he made the decision to follow Jesus. His ministry now is to establish discipleship centers throughout northern Bangladesh.

Subject Line: The Second Wave Has Arrived!

Dear Friends:

It has been said that the only constant in life is change. As humans, we are in a constant flux of change. As much as we love stability and being able to count on something or someone being the same as always, change happens. Change is inevitable.

In my experience in the Internet digital evangelism world, change has been in the form of software, languages offered, and methods to finding revenue income. But in 2025, the landscape of digital evangelism changed drastically. It is due to this change that we can look retrospectively and label we have done as the “First Wave” of digital evangelism and the upcoming methods as the “Second Wave.”

Network211 was created in the early days of the Internet, which brought the First Wave of Internet evangelism. My father, Dr. George M. Flattery, learned about the Internet in 1992 0and started digitizing ICI University subjects (ICIU is now Global University). He incorporated Global Colleagues (later to be called Network211) in December of 1997. Google went public in September 1998. I like to say that God created Google for us to
use as the new Roman roads to reach the known world. We launched Project 10Million on October 15, 2008, with the goal to present the Gospel to 10 million people in ten years. The Lord allowed us to accomplish that goal on October 14, 2013, five years later. It was expanded to be called Project 100Million, and we are at 65.3 million Gospel presentations.

Network211 met people at their point of need as they searched online for answers to the dilemmas of their lives. We presented Christ as the Answer and then connected with them when they wrote to us. We provided further online content so that they could grow in the Lord. Then, we helped them belong to a local church. So, our strategy was search, present, connect, grow, and belong. Our motto was that we helped individuals go from “Searches to Churches!” This First Wave continues and is presented in seventeen languages.

I submit that due to the arrival of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Second Wave of Internet evangelism has arrived in 2025. The leap from the first wave to the second wave was so exponential that it would be like moving from radio to the Internet and skipping over the era of television and movies. Network211 hosted a conference on November 14,
2025 called, “Empowering Believers in the Digital New World” with the intent of exposing the Church to the Second Wave.

As the Second Wave begins, Network211 is adding to its presentations content that is optimized for Generative AI, creating an Assemblies of God Data Lake to be the resource for AI tools, adding an AI chat box, and adding a Digital Human that has the potential to converse in 120 languages. The Second Wave has arrived! You will be hearing more in the coming days.

So, what I request is that you continue to faithfully pray and give to Network211! We are working diligently to fulfill the Great Commission to everyone, everywhere and in every
nation and territory on the planet.

Yes, we must enter the Second Wave with our eyes wide open. At the same time, we must ask, “How can we use AI for the glory of God!” Thank you for being a vital part of our partnership as we take this journey together.
