The Alliance of Therapy Pets is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization connecting highly trained domesticated therapy animals with persons in need of healing, companionship, and growth, regardless of a person's age or abilities. The Alliance of Therapy Pets' goal is to provide comfort, support, and encouragement through animal assisted activities (AAA), animal assisted therapy (AAT), or animal assisted interventions (AAI) to help people overcome issues of sorrow, self-confidence, memory, below grade reading, mental or physical handicaps, aid in physical rehabilitation, or regain independence. We offer unconditional love and acceptance. If you are interested in joining us to see what we are all about, please feel free to clip on the leash, bring your dog and drop in to any of our events! Unless otherwise noted, these will be informal gatherings and your dog does not need to be certified to attend.
