HOME CITY FAMILIES, the Springfield Coordinated Family and Community Engagement grant funded by the Department of Early Education and Care, offers a network of information, support and programming for families in Springfield. We provide free parent workshops, parent and child playgroups and family literacy activities throughout the city. Home City Families also provides information and referrals t

o connect families to resources in the community including Early Childhood Education programs and services. for Kindergarten, New Baby Outreach Visits, playgroups & story hours, Active Parenting and more! Just a reminder that there will be no programming on Monday due to the holiday. Here's something to look forward to, though: the HCF Family Garden is back in business! 🥰

In a couple months, we'll have lots of sungold cherry tomatoes to grab on your way in or out 🍅, and right now we have plenty of chives, parsley, and mint that came back from last year! 🌿 We'll also have colorful zinnias to cut and maybe some dahlias yet to come! 💐 Planted just in time to take advantage of the weekend rain. ☔️
