On January 10, Massachusetts DAR proudly teamed up with New York DAR to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Henry Knox Trail and the historic crossing of the Noble Train of Artillery from New York into Massachusetts. Together, we participated in commemorations hosted by Revolution 250 in Alford and Great Barrington, Massachusetts.

Massachusetts State Regent Mary Tedesco and New York State Regent Lisa O’Brien, along with state officers and members from both states, stood together in unity as descendants of Patriots while honoring this significant milestone in our shared history.

Sincere thanks to Jonathan Lane and Revolution250 for the opportunity to take part in this meaningful commemoration. We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to our Massachusetts DAR State Officers, the First Resistance Chapter, NSDAR and all who helped make DAR’s participation possible.

May the Henry Knox Trail continue to inspire patriotism, service and unity. 🇺🇸

Happy 70th Anniversary of Constitution Week (September 17–23, 2025)! This week marks the 70th anniversary of Constitution Week, a celebration initiated in 1955 by the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787.

Join us TODAY, September 17th at 4:00 PM EST for Bells Across America, one minute of simultaneous bell ringing across the Nation, followed by a recitation of the Preamble to the Constitution. Let’s ring in this historic moment together!

Special thanks to Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey and her staff for issuing the 2025 Constitution Week Proclamation in honor of this milestone. 🇺🇸
