Looking for a way to eat local, while making a difference? Join us an upcoming Bambinos Give Back Monday, supporting Harmony House - as a part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month! 💜

Bambinos Cafe on Battlefield will be donating a portion of all dinner sales on Monday, October 19th between 4pm-9pm. Eat in, or carry out (at their Battlefield location) – all while helping to support survivors in our community. Thank you Bambinos Cafe!

We’re so grateful for the way that they come alongside our mission, help spread the message of hope - and take a stand against domestic violence.

Today we say thank you to Bill Hennessey, Mission Director at Springfield Catholic Schools (formerly Mercy’s Vice President of Mission) - who has been serving as the iCare kickoff breakfast emcee for nearly 12 years! Thank you, for saying iCare again this season.

We wanted to take a moment to thank the Martin Family Foundation who recently awarded Harmony House with a grant to help support therapy services for survivors. This award will help to support free therapy (individual, group, and family therapy) for shelter residents and outreach clients, including our Community Support Group for survivors of domestic violence.

Today is Purple Thursday! 💜 is the third Thursday in Domestic Violence Awareness Month - a great opportunity to spread awareness & the message of hope.

Harmony House staff are wearing purple today to honor survivors and to continue to promote the principle that everyone deserves a life free of abuse.

October is an annual reminder to stand against abuse, honor survivors, and celebrate advocates for domestic violence awareness. We invite you to engage this week - by participating in Purple Thursday! Purple Thursday falls on the third Thursday of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Join us this Thursday, October 15th by wearing purple to show support of survivors of domestic violence. Tag Harmony House or in your purple attire this Thursday, as we continue to increase awareness & spread hope! 💜
