Thank you to the Arvest Foundation for their recent contribution of $3,750 towards shelter, supportive services, and advocacy at Harmony House. A special thank you to WACO Title Company for the funding nomination, and for taking the time to visit, tour shelter, and engage more deeply with our mission in the movement against domestic violence.

Looking for a way to eat local, while making a difference? Join us an upcoming Bambinos Give Back Monday, supporting Harmony House!

Bambinos Cafe on Battlefield will be donating a portion of all dinner sales on Monday, June 1st between 4pm-9pm. Eat in, or carry out (at their Battlefield location) – all while helping to support survivors in our community. Thank you!

We're excited to share that so far in 2026, we've received multiple Walmart Spark Good Local Grants, totaling $5,500 across 4 local Walmart or Sam's stores in Springfield! Staff at each store vote on the local nonprofit to receive Spark Good funding.

These grants will help support safe bed nights for survivors of domestic violence in our community. Thank you so much to the staff at stores #2221, #4985, #138 and #3111 for partnering with Harmony House to make a difference. We're proud to spark good in our community!

At Harmony House, the people who donate their time and efforts - have a huge impact on our daily operations. In 2025 alone, we had 5,774 volunteer hours! Mary is a longtime friend and volunteer in our donations center, saw a recent need of ours - and took it upon herself to help. For the 2nd year in a row, Mary has held her own paper towel drive - and this year she collected 170 rolls for shelter! We are so lucky to be a part of a thoughtful and driven community - with people like Mary serving on our volunteer team. Thank you, Mary! 💜

Our friends at She-Roxx have already held TWO events this year to benefit the mission of Harmony House! In their latest multi-day off-roading adventure earlier this month, they were able to raise over $8,000 to support survivors of domestic violence. We are grateful for this committed and generous community of Jeep drivers in our area. Thank you, She-Roxx for your meaningful support! 💜

The people behind the work at Harmony House, are the caring hearts and minds who make it all possible.💜 This year, as we've been celebrating the 50th anniversary of our organization, we also honor a specific staff member who has been an integral part of the team for so much of our history. Last week, we celebrated Misty Boone on her 20th work anniversary at Harmony House. As our Family Advocacy Program Coordinator, Mistry oversees all of the diverse residential programming that is offered to our clients each week. To celebrate her significant milestone and contributions over the last 20 years, we are proud to dedicate the Harmony House Family Room, in her honor.

"I have enjoyed my 20 years at Harmony House - I have seen a lot of growth, as an individual, as an agency, and as a community. It has been an honor serving my community and working alongside survivors and other service providers, volunteers, donors, and community members. I am amazed everyday by people who continue the journey of working towards our mission - that all individuals deserve a life free from abuse. I am most pleased to have been blessed to work alongside many of our youth and their families - planting seeds of hope for a brighter future," noted Misty.
