Students don’t need to do college alone.

Today is Chi Alpha Sunday. Please pray for the missionaries who faithfully walk alongside students, build meaningful community, and help them come to know Jesus.

Please pray for renewed strength, meaningful friendships, and opportunities to share the Gospel. Pray for their families, their teams, and the communities they’re building on campuses across the country.

To our Chi Alpha missionaries: thank you for showing up, making room for students from every background, and sharing your lives as you share your faith.

Please join us in praying for Chi Alpha missionaries today

Jesus said, “Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Luke 10:2

This guide will help you pray intentionally for the people who have yet to hear and for the laborers God is calling to go.

Use it personally, with your small group, or with your community.

Every day at 10:02, stop for one minute and pray:
Lord of the harvest, send laborers.

Set your clock. Set your heart. 🤍

Across the country, we're inviting you to stop at 10:02 to pray one prayer together - Lord, send laborers into the harvest.

Who is the harvest?

People.

People from every culture, language, nation, and background—people who are made in the image of God and deeply loved by Him.

There are still communities around the world where people have little or no access to the Gospel. That includes Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist, tribal and indigenous communities, as well as people who have yet to be reached in universities and other places.

Jesus looked at the crowds and said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.” And what did He tell His followers to do?

Pray.

“Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Luke 10:2

So every day at 10:02, we pause to pray for the people who have yet to hear, and for the laborers God is calling to go.
Lord of the harvest, send laborers.

What does a “laborer” look like?

When Jesus looked at the crowds, he saw a harvest that was plentiful...but the laborers were few.

“Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” - Luke 10:2

A laborer isn’t a particular type of person. A laborer is someone who is sent and obeys by going to the places and people who haven’t heard the Gospel in order to make Jesus known.

The harvest is plentiful right in front of you. How is God inviting you to be a part of it?

See you at 10:02 on 10/2

Jesus says the harvest is plentiful. The problem is that the laborers are few.

Around the world, there are still people with little or no access to the Gospel. There are places where few or no laborers are working to bring the Gospel to those who have never heard it. Some of the places with the greatest need are also some of the hardest places to go.

So what does Jesus tell us to do?

Pray.

“Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2

The harvest is there. The need is there. And Jesus tells us to ask the Lord of the harvest to send the people who will go.

Every day at 10:02, take one minute to pray:

Lord of the harvest, send laborers.
