We are so excited to be a part of this two year project to expand literacy initiatives to our littlest learners!

The Springfield-Greene County Library Foundation has received a $25,000 grant from the Darr Family Foundation to support Ladders to Literacy, a new initiative that will strengthen school readiness through equipping childcare providers with early literacy education tools.

Building on our nationally recognized Racing to Read framework, this two-year initiative will partner with childcare classrooms across Greene County to help make reading and early literacy part of children's everyday experiences.

We're grateful to the Darr Family Foundation for investing in our community's youngest learners and helping create more opportunities for children to thrive.

We are excited to partner with Harmony House and their Family Advocacy program!

A special thank you to the Darr Family Foundation - for their generous funding towards our incredible Family Advocacy Program! Through their support, our team will be able to provide new educational and fun programming, and engaging materials for the families and students in shelter. 📚The Family Advocacy Team has already been planning for the 2027 year as well!

Happy Birthday, Bill!

We celebrated in epic fashion over the weekend with a ribbon cutting at the William H. Darr College of Agriculture!

Two new facilities expanding small animal education and ag innovation opportunities were dedicated on the 1st Annual Darr Difference Day.

We are honored at the Darr Family Foundation to make every day a Darr Difference Day.

The BIG CHECK made two stops today!

We are so incredibly honored and proud to be a part of the capital campaign for Children's Smile Center and The Child Advocacy Center, Inc.! Both organizations are providing critical resources and care to our local kids, and these gifts will help increase capacity in their new locations. We are grateful for their work.

A huge thanks to our board member Tom for taking the lead on our check presentations today!
