Happy Birthday, Bill!

We celebrated in epic fashion over the weekend with a ribbon cutting at the William H. Darr College of Agriculture!

Two new facilities expanding small animal education and ag innovation opportunities were dedicated on the 1st Annual Darr Difference Day.

We are honored at the Darr Family Foundation to make every day a Darr Difference Day.

The BIG CHECK made two stops today!

We are so incredibly honored and proud to be a part of the capital campaign for Children's Smile Center and The Child Advocacy Center, Inc.! Both organizations are providing critical resources and care to our local kids, and these gifts will help increase capacity in their new locations. We are grateful for their work.

A huge thanks to our board member Tom for taking the lead on our check presentations today!

Heather is hosting a Fall Grant Writing Academy workshop series in partnership with Community Foundation of the Ozarks and Network for Strong Communities. This cohort-style class will feature monthly, two-hour-long workshops on all things grants. This cohort will begin in September. You can learn more and sign up here:

We would like to wish our founder, Mr. Bill Darr, the happiest 94th Birthday! 🎂 We just called him and he assured us he’s been celebrating for two weeks. A well deserved celebration. ❤️

We are so honored that we were invited to present at the "Outsized Impact Film Festival" this week in Austin as part of the Exponent Philanthropy Conference. Over the last two years, we have shared information with this organization about our flagship project—the AgAcademy at Springfield Public Schools, Springfield, MO - as an example of a best-practice funding strategy combining mission and legacy for BOLD impact. So today, on a national philanthropic stage, we had the opportunity to share this video.

Since 2017, the Darr Family Foundation has been investing in transformative work alongside SPS and other community partners to improve attendance and academic outcomes and decrease big behaviors.
