📢 Notice for Family Center patrons: The previously scheduled Fri., July 25, Kids’ Night is CANCELLED due to staffing shortage. Thank you for your understanding.

Dan Kinney Family Center reopens at 1 p.m. Monday, June 30, following an overnight power outage. Afternoon classes are canceled, but evening classes are proceeding as scheduled.

Post-storm parks update, July 1:
• Dan Kinney Family Center is open, following a normal schedule.
• Rivercut Municipal Golf Course is open.
• Horton Smith Golf Course is open, but there is no power and the course might be… challenging due to storm damage.
• Trees and limbs are down at multiple locations, including Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial, Fassnight, Ray Kelly, Jenny Lincoln, Sequiota, Rutledge-Wilson Farm, and Phelps Grove parks.
• Please avoid and keep kids off any trees or limbs on the ground, and please be very cautious on greenway trails, where storm debris may be on the trail.
• We are still assessing our parks and trails. To report additional storm damage, call the Parks office during business hours at 417-864-1049, or send us a message here.
